A collaborative learning space for students, professionals, educators, and community members exploring rest as a response to trauma.
Together, we will explore the Rest as Response framework and Rest School curriculum, hear from guest speakers, consider applications across different fields, and offer feedback that helps shape the work.
The Community of Practice will include:
Live Learning Sessions: November 9th 6-7pm ET • February 8th 6-7pm ET • March TBD • April TBD
Live Rest Events: First Wednesdays from 12:00–12:45 PM: Dec 2, Jan 6, Feb 3, Mar 3, Apr 7, May 5
(while we encourage attendance at the sessions and events, recordings will be shared for those who cannot attend live sessions)
Certificate of Completion will be given to those who participate in the approximately 10 hours of combined instruction, practice, community participation, and reflection:
8.5 hours of live online instruction and practice
1–1.5 hours of guided reflection
Including:
Attendance at Community Rest Events from December through May.
Attendance at all four learning sessions.
Completion a brief reflection for each module and Community Rest Event.
Submition of all reflections through the final program Google Form.
